Installation and Care

The Weyer stainless steel rear bumper protector is designed so that you can install it yourself at home on your vehicle. It consists of high-quality, rustproof 0.5mm stainless steel [austenitic chromium-nickel steel] with high corrosion resistance. All stainless steel rear bumper protectors are easily installed using double-sided 3M or Tesa adhesive tape, depending on the bumper type [plastic-coated or painted]. Furthermore, cola has proven very effective in the fight against light flash rust, as this beverage contains phosphoric acid, which attacks the deposit. This then dissolves with the treatment. You can apply the cola to the affected area just like the lemon juice. In addition, there are a wide variety of care products and flash rust removers available in stores for cleaning.
